Republican Governor of Arkansas Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Fox News contributor Mara Lyson have declined to support Donald Trump’s march to the White House in 2024 as the GOP continues to distance itself from the former president.
Sanders, a former Trump aide, dodged the question when asked if she would endorse his third presidential campaign during an appearance on Fox News on Twitter. Sunday. Instead, she simply said that she “had a great relationship with him.”
Meanwhile, also on the network, Liason said there was “no question” that the conservative media has a “strong desire to move on from Donald Trump.”
It comes as Trump spends a busy weekend on Truth Social about his treatment since recovering a slew of classified documents from Mar-a-Lago.
His anger was renewed after a small number of classified documents from President Joe Biden’s term as vice president were discovered in the home and office he once used.
Meanwhile, a judge revealed portions of the transcript of Trump’s testimony derived from E.T. Jean Carroll is against it, as he denied raping her in the 1990s.

House GOP observer calls George Santos an ‘evil man’ who told ‘despicable’ lies
House Republican Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer strongly condemned incoming Republican Representative George Santos and his repeated defamation.
The incoming president, a Kentucky Republican, responded to a question from host Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday about seven House Republicans who said Santos should step down.
“He’s evil,” said Mr. Comer. “It’s too bad. He’s not the first politician to unfortunately reach Congress for lying.”

There is no doubt that the conservative media “has a strong desire to distance itself from Donald Trump,” said Fox News correspondent Mara Liason.
Speaking on Sunday’s episode of Fox News Media Buzz, Ms. Liason said it’s clear Fox News — a longtime ally of the former president — is not willing to give Trump as much air time as it has in the past.
“There is no question that the majority of the conservative media – Fox above all – have a strong desire to distance themselves from Donald Trump and are not giving him enough attention and not giving him enough air time, I think, as they have done before,” she said.
It comes as Trump makes his third bid for the White House.
